My approaches to therapeutic work are varied and continue to evolve over my years of study, teaching and ongoing training. I started out firmly rooted in existential, humanistic and feminist approaches, became deeply influenced by attachment-theory, and trauma-informed and somatic approaches and I am always thinking psychodynamically throughout my work with clients.
My commitment to anti-oppressive practice and social justice, as well as in depth training in emotionally-focused couple therapy, trained me to understand relational and intra-psychic struggles through a systemic lens.
